Shipping Policy

Shipping Policy for Spiggy Designs

1. Processing & Dispatch Times

Ready-to-Ship: Standard items (e.g., existing jesmonite stock and illustrations) are dispatched within 3 working days.

Bespoke/Made-to-Order: Custom illustrations or jesmonite commissions incur a longer processing time (e.g., 7–14 days) to allow for creation and curing. Please be mindful of this while ordering.

2. Shipping Methods & Costs (UK)

Standard Delivery: At Spiggy we use Royal Mail Tracked 48 as a standard method of shipping.
Express/Tracked Upgrade: Larger pieces can be expedited to a courier if required, please email to arrange.

*Please note that some of our graphic illustrations are fulfilled by a third party print company. This is for environmental reasons, not to overprint and reduce waste.

3. Packaging & Fragile Items

Protection: Jesmonite pieces are wrapped in protective layers and shipped in sturdy, double-walled boxes to prevent snapping.
Flat Graphics: Illustrations are shipped in "Do Not Bend" board-backed envelopes with a waterproof sleeve to prevent creases.

4. Tracking & Delivery Responsibility

Tracking Info: Customers will receive a dispatch email; as part of the tracked service, include tracking number to monitor delivery progress.
Loss or Damage: Spiggy Designs will do our best to ensure a prompt and accurate delivery of all orders, and are aware we are responsible for the package until it reaches the customer. If an item arrives damaged, please to report it within 24–48 hours with photos of the packaging.

5. International Shipping

At this time, we are unable to fulfil orders outside the UK.

Refund Policy

Refund Eligibility & Criteria:

- 28-Day Window: We offer a full cash refund for items returned to us within 28 days of the date you received them.
- Re-sellable Condition: To qualify for a refund or exchange, items must be returned in their original, unused, and re-sellable condition.
- Original Packaging: We request that items are returned in their original packaging where possible to ensure they are protected during transit.

Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy

Cancellation Policy

Standard Items: You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your items without giving a reason. To exercise this right, please contact us at hello@spiggydesigns.co.uk with your order details.

- Bespoke & Personalised Orders: Please note that custom-made jesmonite pieces or personalised graphic illustrations cannot be cancelled or returned once production has begun, as these are tailored to your specifications.
- Returns: Once you have notified us of your cancellation, you must return the items within 14 days. You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods. Items must be returned in their original, resalable condition.
- Refunds: We will process your refund, including standard outbound delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of postage.
- Faulty Goods: If your item is faulty or not as described, you have a 30-day right to reject it for a full refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Exchanges:

Stock Availability: If you would like to exchange your item for a different jesmonite piece or illustration, please contact us first to check stock availability.
Bespoke Items: Please note that custom or personalised designs are not eligible for exchange unless they are faulty.

Shipping & Costs:
- Customer Responsibility: Unless an item is faulty, the cost of returning products for a refund or exchange is at the customer’s expense.
- Tracked Shipping: We strongly recommend using a tracked mail service for all returns, as Spiggy Designs cannot be held responsible for items that are lost or damaged in transit back to us.

Processing Your Refund:

- Timeline: Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your full cash refund to your original payment method within 14 days.
- Exclusions: Any outbound "express" shipping costs beyond our standard delivery rate will not be included in the refund.
